UNICEF's latest Report Card ranks Ireland for child well-being and contains fascinating findings. Teen birth rate and drunkenness are down, but the rate of teen suicide here is the 4th highest in the EU/OECD region. Ireland also scores badly on breastfeeding, there is interesting reading on other nutrition issues too and the number of young people not in education, employment or training (37/41) is far too high. The report should serve as a useful reference point for policy-makers who need to ensure children are protected and included in any economic recovery #SDGsforeverychild
