Baby Hassan is critically ill. Malnutrition brought him close to death's door. Thankfully, Mum Ugazo got him to a UNICEF stabilisation centre in Hargeisa, Somalia where he is getting the treatment he needs. UNICEF Ireland's Executive Director met Hassan on a fact-finding mission to famine-risk zones last week. He describes conditions as 'distressing' and has issued an appeal for donations. 1.4 million children in #Somalia are at risk of malnutrition. Visit to help.
