Dude. This really got me thinking (yes, I’m fine!).
I just know myself, and some family/friends, who are the type to hold on to everything and just kinda shove all the emotions down. We never sit down and actually feel the emotion(s) and deal with it/them... We just push against ourselves and keep going.
